Nick Cameron and David Clegg… Excuse us, Nick Clegg and David Cameron recently renewed their pledge to continue to fight to allow homosexual couples to marry legally in the United Kingdom.
This comes after Cameron’s Conservative Party promised they would lead the opposition to any such legislation. They claim they will do so to protect traditional marriage from any gay ‘taint’.
One has to wonder, however, whether it might not just the idea of this power couple being legally joined that has the Conservative Party all up in arms.
Clegg and Cameron already make a powerful and effective political duo, despite their parties’ differences. Onces their souls are legally bound together, who knows what they could potentially accomplish?
It’s obvious that Conservative MPs wish to keep the reigns of power within the family, so to speak. Maybe were Cameron tied to a fellow Tory instead, any so-called moral qualms would evaporate like so much ill-smelling dew?
